Today we went behind the scenes at Midwest Farm & Land Company at their beautiful brand new space in Salem!! Thank you to Brandon Swartzlander, and thank you to Dee Ann Arey, for taking the time out of their schedules (and meeting us at 7:30am) to show us a day in the life of a real estate agent. Both Brandon and Dee Ann have had successful companies and careers in other cities and chose to come back here, because they saw the opportunity and knew the community here was special and how it shaped them. So many good takeaways, but these really stuck with us: “If you are passionate about something, find a mentor who can help you, and align yourself with people you can talk to.” And, “if you believe in something, do it.” Don’t be afraid to fail. 💯
